ASHTON , ASHLYN

Done for another friend of mine , Anthony. Now this guy is really
a tattoo enthusiast. That and a little bit of a camera addict i tell you. With him
its really non-stop with his phone taking snap shots of daily life.
Hes one hell of a colorful guy. And whats more he's no newbie to the world of skin art.
Already having an arm piece he asked me to do a leg piece for him. He wanted his
son and daughters names only. But i convinced him that it would be too plain and
such a waste of prime space. I also told him that color would really be great as i had just the
design in mind to frame both names!

The sons name i used a script that sort of looked like Japanese calligraphy
and for the girls i used old English script. The wordings are just highlighted with a black outline,
they are not shaded in any way on the inside leaving the skin color bare.
The back ground however is done up Jap style with all that wavy lines and shapes that i
am so fond of. There are also patches of color here and there where i placed clowds
as well as a sun to represent the boy child, and a moon to represent the girl.
Everything in this image revolves and relates to the script. Even the whole composition
is in relation to the two words coming straight down the middle.

SUN-WORSHIP

Done for my friend Matthew , who has finally decided to
grace his body with some art. Good for you man!
As i was doing this i was thinking why not
bring in my own tattoo machines and compressors?
Why not do what i love to do and get paid , part time of course!
So ive decided on it, i will get the stuff soon, hopefully for x'mas
then this way next year will be a very colorful year...

Any way for this piece Matthew roughly told me what he wanted and
i had a freehand on what was produced. I had the ancient patterns of the Aztecs in mind
but somehow i evolved the linear qualities into this more curvy lines to create a more
soothing texture, the eyes of the sun really stand out amongst the "raised"
texture. Over all im quite satisfied with this piece.

UNBORN

I did this quite a long while ago. It was intended to be my
arm piece, extending from wrists to elbow wrapping around my left arm
really making a statement.
It shows the isolation of a human within the womb.
